Discover a unique island ...

Of course, we recommend you to fully enjoy nature and peace of mind in the comfort of the property.  But it would be silly to miss the island’s most beautiful places. Experience the dream beaches: the nearby Megali Ammos, Milia, Kokkinokastro, Megalos Mourtias, Agios Dimitrios to name only some.  Alonissos is particularly great for hiking or just walking: visit the charming hilltop Old Village or stroll through the forest to lovely Agioi Anargiri Chapel.  Many marked walking trails will make you discover the varied beauties of the island.

The pine forest is very present right up to the seaside.  Even in summer you will easily find both heat and shade on the beach or while walking.  A valuable asset if you must reconcile those who seek heat and those who avoid it.

Moreover, you can visit some prehistoric settlements or the Museum of Pirates as well as the info point of the MoM (the Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk seal).

For diving enthusiasts, different clubs offer you the opportunity to explore an underwater world teeming with caves, gorgons and marine creatures.  In 2020, the 25 centuries old shipwreck of Peristera was the first diving park to open in Greece as part of an underwater museum program.

Alonissos counts several diving centres with competent and experienced staff.

Canoeing and sea kayaking are other options.  Guided day trips offer the chance to paddle over the ancient Peristera shipwreck or explore the interior of the Blue Cave in the north of the island.

The more cautious will be satisfied with a boat trip in the Marine Park.
